The 65th Warrendale Wagyu Pock 7s saw 32 senior teams and thousands of spectators pack into Percy Road for a ten-hour feast of none-stop rugby on Good Friday, followed by an amazing Junior 7s on Easter Sunday with 36 teams and 410 youngsters playing.

Friday's men's and women's tournaments were well supported.

The women's competition final saw Bishop Burton OG hit form to defeat holders, Sale Metrodogs, 33-7 and lift the Amy Hardy Cup.

The men's tournament ended with West Yorkshire side, Old Grovians, getting the Fowler Trophy on their event debut, the former pupils of Woodhouse Grove School, beating Lomaitivi, the army Fijians from Catterick, in the final by 38-12.

In the men's plate Jersey Royals came through a tussle with Driffield 28-12 for the Herring Plate.
